Biosis has one of the largest and most experienced botany teams in Australia, with over 30 consultants in our Victorian and New South Wales offices.
Our botanists operate at all levels, from graduate level through to Associate and Technical Director, ensuring the right mix of skills and experience is available to advise our clients.
The botany team often works in multi-disciplinary project teams with our zoologists, heritage specialists, environmental planners and spatial services staff.
In Victoria, our botanists hold Vegetation Quality Assessment (VQA) method competency checks from the Victorian Government, and in NSW we have Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accredited consultants. We have experience in a range of ecosystems from urban environments to remote alpine and semi-arid regions across all of Victoria and NSW.
We work with clients on impact assessment and natural resource management for projects across many industries including renewable energy, residential and industrial development, roads, resource development, recreational infrastructure, land and water management, telecommunications and utility services.
