His extensive experience as a consultant in natural resource management allows him to provide in-depth advice when in consultation with key stakeholders, utilising a comprehensive understanding of biodiversity legislation to achieve positive outcomes for his clients.
As a Project Manager and Senior Ecologist, Matthew has led ecological assessments of significant infrastructure projects such road, rail and pipeline upgrades as well as renewable energy projects including wind farms, solar farms, batteries and transmission lines. These projects involved comprehensive vegetation mapping, floristic assessments, and detailed quantification of vegetation impacts, culminating in the preparation of documents for planning permits, planning scheme exemptions or federal approval processes.
