Aaron Harvey, Chief Executive Officer
Starting his career as a botanist, Aaron has been with Biosis for 18 years and led the company for 12.
Objective, competitive and motivated to contribute to the greater good, Aaron’s role as Chief Executive Officer is to challenge our people to be their professional best and to deliver best practice consulting to our broad range of clients.
Aaron Troy, Chief Operating Officer
Aaron has been with Biosis for 14 years and worked in the environmental industry for 20 years as a lecturer, research scientist and consultant, and alongside his various leadership roles across his career he has significant experience in both project management and business development.
Aaron’s positive communication style means trusted analysis and advice. His skills and interest in finance and people management have ensured the ongoing success of Biosis.
Claire Nunez, General Manager (NSW)
Claire came to Biosis two years ago as our Technical Director – Heritage (NSW) and has inspired us with her positive and solutions-focused approach. She has a background in heritage management, public policy and regulation and senior consulting roles, and has provided strategic advice on multifaceted urban projects.
In her new role as General Manager (NSW), Claire is responsible for Biosis’ NSW operations; providing leadership and working closely with each of our discipline managers to deliver high quality advice to our clients.
Mitch Deaves, General Manager (Victoria)
With a background in planning, property development and project management, Mitch has worked across local government, client-side and consultancy roles in Australia (Victoria and Queensland) and the United Kingdom.
In his new role as the General Manager (Victoria), Mitch oversees all our Victorian operations; setting the direction for our teams and providing support to our discipline managers.
Matt Looby, General Manager - Business & Technical Development
Matt has 20 years of diverse experience in government, private sector and community-based natural resource management and environmental planning in Victoria and New South Wales.
In his new role as General Manager - Business & Technical Development, Matt is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, ensuring Biosis’ high technical standards are maintained and directing the delivery of large and complex projects.
Vas Papadopoulos, Manager - People & Culture
Vas has 12 years' experience as a commercial people and culture professional, with strategic and operational experience in various roles and industries including Retail, Banking & Finance, Asset Finance, Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering Consultancy, and Education.
In his role as Manager – People & Culture, Vas is responsible for creating and executing strategies that enhance talent attraction, retention, and development, while fostering an inclusive and engaging work culture aligned with Biosis' values and strategic goals.
