Experienced Environmental Planner

We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity to an experienced Environmental Planner seeking to join our dynamic team. Located in our Sydney office, you will have the chance to contribute your expertise to a variety of engaging projects.

As a key member of our team, you will have a high-level of aptitude for environmental planning, capable of providing sound planning advice and guidance to our clients. Your responsibilities will include participating in, conducting, and managing projects, and the production of technical reports. Additional duties will include proposal writing, business development and establishing a profile in the professional community as an environmental planner.

Working closely with our multi-disciplinary team of professionals, you will become an integral member of the Environmental Approvals team, a key contributor to existing and future projects throughout New South Wales, and a driver for the development of our environmental planning capabilities in the region.

To apply you will need to submit a CV and cover letter addressing the following required skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in planning.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation with regard to environmental approvals.
  • An understanding of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, the Victoria Planning Provisions, and the planning approvals process.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Effects Statements (EES) and Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC) referrals/approval management.
