Crystal is a Senior Consultant in the New South Wales Heritage team and the Business Development Coordinator for Biosis in NSW. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), with a specialisation in shell midden archaeology.
Crystal has managed a diverse portfolio of projects, including Aboriginal Due Diligence Assessments, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessments, Historical Archaeological Assessments, Statements of Heritage Impact, Heritage Interpretation Plans, and both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Heritage Management Plans. She has successfully obtained numerous Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permits (AHIPs) and Section 60 approvals for her clients, demonstrating a strong grasp of regulatory requirements and stakeholder engagement.
Her expertise spans project management, technical reporting, Aboriginal community consultation, artefact analysis, research, field surveys, and test and salvage excavations. A solid foundation in heritage legislation underpins her work, enabling practical, high-quality outcomes tailored to each project. She has provided advice for a wide range of developments, including Integrated Development Applications (IDAs), State Significant Infrastructure (SSI), and State Significant Development (SSD) projects, as well as works involving locally and state-listed heritage items across Government-owned assets.
In 2024, Crystal was appointed Business Development Lead (NSW), complementing her consulting expertise, and in 2025, she progressed to Business Development Coordinator, broadening her focus to include strategic client engagement, industry outreach, and the development of cross-sector opportunities. In these roles, Crystal has played a key part in promoting Biosis’ heritage, ecology, and GIS services, delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of clients across government, architecture, engineering, and property sectors. Her proactive approach, clear communication, and deep understanding of client priorities have strengthened relationships, unlocked new opportunities, and supported the successful delivery of complex projects.
